|
GLUING
Use standard metal and aluminium adhesives. Avoid contact with the polyethylene centre. Use of double sided tapes is acceptable. |
SILK-SCREEN
Excellent compactibility with any silk-screening process. All surfaces must be free from all dirt. |
SHEARING
Panels can be shared with standard guillotine machine. Ensure the top cover sheet is properly inserted |

|

|

|
CLAMPING & BOLTING
Various securing methods such as clamping system above, typical bolt & nut, stainless steel screws and rivets can be used. |
PUNCHING
Conventional sheet punching machines can be used for desired perforation or patterns. |
CONTOUR CUTTING
Panels can be easily contour cut with CNC machines and jig saws. |

|

|

|
FOLDING (or ROUTING)
Panels can be easily folded and shaped by various routing techniques. Please refer to last page for typical examples. |
HOT AIR WELDING
A polyethylene welding rod is available for use with an electric hot air welding set. |
SAWING
ALMAXCO Panels are easily processed with cutting machine tools such as flat tooth blade/trapezoidal. Flat teeth chamfered at 45 degree. Carbide tipped. It's recommended to use a hard alloy blade.

|
DRILLING
ALMAXCO panels can be drilled with twist drills which are normally used for aluminium and plastics on machines common for metals. By using high-speed, low feed, occasional raising of the drill and blowing with compressed air, the swarf will be rapidly removed.
|
BENDING
Bending can be done with standard bending machines i.e. brake press, roll bending machine & folding machine. Minimum inside radius:
r=25 x T and for Fr Core,
r=25 x T (T = thickness of panel)
|
ROLL BENDING
3-roller panel bender is more preferable for bending of large internal diameters. For panel thickness: 3mm, 4mm, 6mm. Radius: 120mm, 175m, 275mm respectively.
