Packing & Paletting
We give tremendous attention to our packing and Palleting, unlike many suppliers we have our own wood working department and custom make every pallet to size. We believe that after producing a high quality product, it is equally as important to pack the product carefully so that the panels do not get damaged while in transit or unloading.
All panels are placed on a strong timber based pallet with enough space for a forklift to slide its forks underneath the pallet to lift it so that there is no damage to any of the panels. The panels are wrapped in plastic and thin foam roll to protect all edges. Strong side wooden panels are than nailed in place on all 4 sides of the pallet to protect the panels from any external impacts.Finally, the pallet is steel strapped and with proper hard paper corner guards on all 4 corners.
We ensure that each pallet does not weigh more than 1.5 tons in weight. On special request for some markets, we also do lighter pallets if requested, but doing so will reduce the loading volumes and can affect the freight cost.
Each pallet is clearly labeled with Project Name, Number of Sheets inside the pallet, Sizes and Color Codes. We can also put special shipping marks if requested.
